Site Reliability Engineer (Experienced)


At Skelter Labs, the role of a Site Reliability Engineer is not simply limited to operation, but is also responsible for architecting our services from the beginning, advising and developing the services, and extends to building infrastructures and tools for monitoring, distribution, and recovery.

  • Management and operation of on-premise devices, servers, and cloud resources such as AWS
  • Building and introducing infrastructures and tools for efficient management and operation of services and systems
  • Design and implement services for high-availability and security
  • Advising and educating software engineers about best practices on building reliable services

General Qualifications

  • BS degree or above in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in launching and operating large services
  • Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud
  • Experience in COEs such as Kubernetes and Docket Swarm
  • Ability to develop various management and automation tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS or PhD degree
  • Experience in IaC tools such as Puppet, Chef, and Terraform
  • Experience in various database and message queues such as MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, and Kafka
